Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for user password resets, user creation and deactivation, and user group membership management.
- Responsible for carrying out backup and recovery functions, and monitoring the performance of servers at all times.
- Responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of various types of hardware and software.
- Responsible for administering and maintaining system accounts through Active Directory.
- Responsible for storage management as well as network discovery and assessments.
- Ensuring firewall and intrusion prevention system monitoring is observed at all times as well as its management.
- Other tasks may be assigned.
- Candidates must have to be on top of the latest developments in technology so that they can understand how to work with new hardware and software
- Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and other related devices
- Critical thinker and is a team player
