Working within the Service Delivery team, the System Administrator is responsible for processing all client requests that have been escalated by the IT specialists. Combining his or her experience and knowledge with that of his or her team, his or her role is to detect and resolve the problems assigned to them in a professional and efficient manner, in order to satisfy the client at the highest level. When the resolution of a problem is beyond the System Administrator's expertise or control, the System Administrator is responsible for determining the appropriate team or vendor to escalate the incident to and ensuring that the escalation is complete. Similarly, he will also receive requests from other teams within the company to cooperate on the resolution of problems within his area of expertise.


As a sysadmin you will be responsible for:

  • Provide high quality support to our customers:
    • Resolve the majority of escalated incidents by using the available tools and documentation and by performing extensive research of known problems
    • Manage its own ticket queue by prioritizing requests
    • Escalate incidents to the next level after using all internal resources
  • Identify high-priority tickets and communicate effectively through established channels
  • Provide feedback that can be used to increase service quality by providing relevant on recurring incidents or inefficiencies within the service team
